WinSCP adalah sebuah software SCP & FTP open source gratis yang akan membantu Anda untuk melakukan transfer file dari dan ke remote server secara mudah
WinSCP adalah sebuah open source file transfer client gratis, dan simple untuk Windows yang mengunakan teknologi Secure Shell (SSH) untuk menyimpan file yang telah disalin antara PC remote dan local dengan menggunakan File Transfer Protocol (FTP), SSH FTP, atau SCP (Secure Copy) protocols dan juga menyediakan beberapa feature pengaturan file dasar.
WinSCP ini bisa dibilang software yang cukup ajaib. Kenapa ajaib? Jawabannya adalah karena biasanya software yang gratis (free/open source) tidak memiliki berbagai fitur canggih seperti program berbayar. Tapi WinSCP berbeda, software ini walaupun gratis ternyata malah memiliki berbagai fungsi yang bisa dibilang cukup advanced. Beberapa di antaranya :
- Adanya Graphical User Interface
- Sudah diterjemahkan ke dalam berbagai bahasa
- Dapat dipakai secara drag dan drop
- Mensupport fitur U3 dari Kingston
- Dapat melaukukan berbagai hal standard (create, edit, delete file dan folder)
- Mendukung protokol SFTP dan SCP melalui koneksi SSH-1 dan SSH-2, termasuk juga melalui protokol FTP versi lama.
